The Awards

Three Awards will be made in 2010 and each awardee will receive:

• TT $500,000.00 to support his/her work and professional development
• The Anthony N sabga Caribbean Awrd for Excellence Gold Medal and Citation to regonise and commend his/her achievments.
• The opportunity for visibility, and with this, encouragement and support across the Caribbean Region and beyond.

Mission

to recognise significant Caribbean achievement, to encourage and to support the pursuit of excellence by Caribbean persons for the benefit of the Region

Awards Categories

Awards will be given in the following categories:

• Arts & Letters
• Science & Technology
• Public & Civic Contributions

Selection Criteria

•  A track record of conistently superior work that has demonstrated excellence, leadership and pioneership.
• The capacity for significant future achievement and likelihood to do so, being at the stage of life career where this award could help them realise their promise and potential.
• Their work has had, or is likely to have a positive impact in the Caribbean Region and benefit Caribbean people.
• Their work is a benchmark and is positively referenced by others in their field. Their work is well regardwd and the are respected by their peers.
• They are likely to be worthy "exemplars" (they must be willing and available to serve) as Caribbean models of excellence, and inspire hope and emulation to the people of the region.

The Programme Office reserves the right to maintain in its data bank those nominations which fulfil the criteria but have not been selected. No communication will be entered into with persons or those fulfilling the criteria
